Josh Merritt
Project Manager
Josh earned his bachelor's degree in Environmental Technology and Management with Minors in Biological Science and Toxicology at NC State University in Raleigh, NC. Josh brings over eight years of experience in ecological management, including reforestation of native species, invasive species removal, marsh planting, coastal shoreline stabilization, and vegetation monitoring for various clients. Josh provides his knowledge to better maintain an ecologically diverse and successful stream and wetland mitigation site. His roles include project scheduling, project maintenance, budgeting, and landowner relationships. Recently, Josh has started using his experience to identify viable land for stream and wetland mitigation, landowner negotiations, project development, contracting, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and GIS.
Josh has an NC Pesticide License and is a certified Timber Cruiser. During his free time, he enjoys outdoor leisure activities such as hiking, gardening, fishing, and hunting. Josh has always loved being outdoors and is glad he has chosen a career that allows him to spend a lot of time in the great outdoors and manage it.
