JD Hamby

JD graduated from the Agricultural and Resource Economics Department at NC State University in 2015 with a degree in Agricultural Business Management. Joining the Raleigh team in 2016 as a Project Manager, JD has worked with dozens of landowners on sites from western Tennessee to coastal North Carolina, contracting and implementing projects over a variety of ecoregions and agricultural land use settings with many unique landowner needs. JD’s primary roles are site searching, landowner engagement, contract negotiation, implementation oversight, monitoring, and maintenance. JD enjoys the multifaceted challenges mitigation banking brings, and the new areas it takes him around the southeast. Outside of Davey Mitigation JD enjoys his time with family and friends, being outdoors via a boat or a blind, and cheering on the Wolfpack.
